Bid with Akiba Galleries

Akiba Galleries offers multiple ways to participate in our auctions, tailored to your preferences.

We encourage you to bid directly through our website at AkibaGalleries.com for the most streamlined and secure experience. Online bidding is also available via Liveauctioneers or InvaluableAuctions.com.

Additionally, we offer absentee bidding and phone bidding for those who prefer more traditional methods.

In-House Bidding and Auction Guidelines

In-house bidders must register to bid by completing the Bidder Registration Form , calling us by phone, or registering in person at the gallery. First-time bidders are required to provide proof of identity and credit information at the time of registration.

Please remember that all items sold at auction are offered “As Is – Where Is.” It is the bidder’s responsibility to thoroughly assess the condition of any item before placing a bid. We strongly advise reading and fully understanding our Terms and Conditions prior to bidding. Submission of a bidder registration form or registration to bid constitutes agreement to these Terms and Conditions.

After payment is received, you may arrange to pick up your purchases or have them shipped. Akiba Galleries is happy to assist with shipping arrangements; however, all packing and shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. All sales conducted by Akiba Galleries are governed exclusively by our Terms and Conditions.

Absentee & Phone Bidding

Akiba Galleries offers both absentee and phone bidding options for those who are unable to attend the auction in person. To participate, please download, print, and complete the Absentee/Phone Bid Form available on our website.

For absentee bidding, clearly indicate the lot numbers, item descriptions, and the maximum amount you are willing to bid on each lot. Our team will then execute your bids competitively and confidentially, always aiming to secure the item at the lowest possible price.

For phone bidding, once your form is submitted and arrangements are confirmed, a representative will call you shortly before your selected lot is offered. They will communicate with you in real time and place bids on your behalf during the auction.

Please remember to first review your items of interest by checking the catalog description, condition report, estimate and review our on-line photos.
